DESCRIPTION:The UK's education system remains in a state of contant ch
 ange as it responds to new policy initiatives, the increasing demands 
 of parents and students and innovations emerging in learning technolog
 y, pedagogy and neuroscience.\n\n\n\nChannel 4 has a particular focus 
 on 14-19 year olds and how to reach and engage them using the latest m
 edia technologies. Over the course of the last few years we have devel
 oped a series of award winning projects harnessing social media, socia
 l networking services, games and television to give young people a cha
 nce to express themselves in public, share their stories as they move 
 into adulthood and make sense of the world around them.\n\nThe Summer 
 Conference bring together of 300 of the country's most inspiring and i
 nnovative teachers and educators to explore the new ideas and innovati
 ons which will shape education in the next decade\n\n\nWe will showcas
 e\n\nthe Government's latest policy announcements, and the Oppoistions
  plans for education\nhow innovators in the education system are respo
 nding to these challenges, and,\nChannel 4's exciting new education pl
 ans focusing on citizenship, science and games\nThe event will close w
 ith TeachMeet event when all the participants will be able to take con
 trol of the agenda and responds to the ideas generated through the day
