Has any one else watched this dvd, 'We are the people we've been waiting for'? It was free in the Guardian.
It is an independent documentary which explores the education system in the uk. I found the examples of good practice in other countries inspirational and challenging. But it was the students' reflection of their own experiences the most valuable.

I showed the clip of 'The Fonz' Henry Winkler to my bottom Year 10 C band as I loved the passion in what he had to say. They were more intested in the boy on the left hand side!
