Ah, well it works then... even if I have not quite got my head around it yet... and me an 'expert' in Learning Platforms too...
On a very minor 'picky' detail could you ask the developers to alter the the line that talks about being already 'register' without the ed for NCSL - on the sign up screens... us educationalists like teh grammar to be correct :)

Thanks for sending me this link. Very interesting indeed. It was quite a coincidence that I have been thinking about NING for some of our stuff here. You have spurred me into action.
Look forward to seeing you on the 26th in Oxford for the unconference in Oxford. Can't wait to see how it will turn out.
Well what can I say about the Radio Show, you are in the wrong job or are you a secret DJ somewhere. If Top Of The Pops was still on the go you'd possibly make it :). This is looking good and will try and tune in tomorrow for the 'live' show.
Will see you the LT Festival?
Busy man! Yes will come and see you at the Festival and we both need to speak :). Here's a question for your show, are we preparing student teachers with the correct tools to meet the needs of the 21st century child?
Hi Russell,
This looks great- it would be wonderful to see how others have used new technologies in the classroom to change the way we teach, and empower young people to learn.
Hope you are well.
Gill
I have joined a Swedish company, Kunskapsskolan (www.kunskapsskolan.co.uk), to help them bring their highly personalised education system to the UK. We are working on our first two Acadmies in Richmond Upon Thames. Lots of opportunities for innovative ICT so I am looking forward to working with Wired Teachers.
Agree absolutely about the security v creativity thing - its what we live with at the moment, if we are to work in an enabling world, but was just surprised in that its the first time i've seen a ning attacked.
Silverstone was a past project of mine (I project managed the creation) when i worked for Northants LA (Learning Discovery Centre along with Guy Shearer), but sadly no time for contact these days as i now work with Tony Parkin at the SSAT. Would be great to see how its evolved though, especially as i've not met Peter as yet.
I'm working on a number of other projects currently (mostly around teacher innovation, personalising learning using new technologies and CPD) and would love to meet up and discuss ideas.
Give me a shout on skype when you get a mo (bill.how).
I'm new to this and am having difficulty navigating my way around. I can't see your profile information and when i try to send you a message you don't appear in a drop down list as a member i can contact directly via wiredteachers e-mail facility.
Thanks Russell, it's great to be here!
I'll try and contribute as much as I can.
Judy will be signing up later because she is doing all the work at the moment! ;)
hi Russell, yes indeed I thought the conference was excellent and indeed it was great to meet up with you finally. Am hoping to get you into Long Stratton for a radio workshop with the kids, by then we should have Securus in an running and making better use of the 'tools of today' to educate or students..... and teachers.
Hi Russell,
Thanks for that great day last Tues. It was a really inspiring day and a real wake up call for some teachers and schools. Interestingly enough I was unable to open this page in school due to the filtering on Kent network. I had to wait until I was working at home. We will be looking into Securus. Will be in touch re an evening for my parents.

Erm, if they both somehow share login details, how can I choose to log in to one or the other? Technology confounds me sometimes! I'll have to stick with what I see here and lose whatever I had in the previous account!
