Where C21st educators connect

RSA Animate - Changing Education Paradigms

This animate was adapted from a talk given at the RSA by Sir Ken Robinson, world-renowned education and creativity expert. This is a great piece that clearly demonstrates how we might have it wrong!

I would love to recommend this to EVERYONE I know - the graphics are, as always, a joy to watch and his provocative messages need to be seen/heard by all educators ... ... ... BUT, BUT, BUT ... Why oh why did he have to succumb to the ADHD-denier lobby?????  Yes, I know this was a USA-themed talk and Yes the syndrome is over-diagnosed, over-prescribed and over-there, but he is clearly not just against the idea of an epidemic, he is against the very notion of a condition that is PROVEN to be medically/neurologically extant and I DO object to him accusing me of anaesthetising my kids, (two with ADHD). Ok, rant over. But that unscientific bit in the middle of his otherwise excellent talk is a real education-killer.
